Young Musicians Forum November '24

Published Friday 29 November 2024

Tuesday evening saw the first of this year's Young Musician's Forum (YMF) concerts which took place and Kensington Art's Centre. It was lovely to hear a variety of instruments performing different genres of music. We had music from Schubert, Marcello, Martin Fogel amongst others.

It's always a lovely evening allowing students to perform pieces they've currently been working on in their lessons - perhaps as an airing pre graded exams or GCSE/A level performances. The students all played really well and should be proud of their performances.

The evening also included performances from those students who attended the Rock and Pop day, which had been running throughout the whole of Tuesday.

Thank you to all the teachers for working with the students to give wonderful performances.

We look forward to hearing more students performing at the next YMF.
