In July 2024, the Manx Youth Orchestra embarked on a fantastic tour of the Netherlands, blending musical performances with cultural experiences.
The orchestra performed at iconic venues such as the bustling Markt in Delft and the historic Grote Kerk in Beverwijk, receiving warm applause from enthusiastic local audiences. They also visited a traditional cheese farm and clog factory, immersing themselves in authentic Dutch culture.
The group enjoyed a fun-filled day at Walibi Holland theme park, offering some well-deserved relaxation and adventure amidst their busy schedule of performances.
This tour was a memorable experience for the young musicians, showcasing their talents internationally while enjoying the rich culture and history of the Netherlands.
