Tuesday evening saw our 3rd Young Musician’s Forum of the academic year held at Castle Rushen High School. 14 musicians from across the island came together to perform pieces they had been working on in a friendly setting.
It was lovely to see a wide range of instrumentalists and vocalists right the way from Blue Badge students who have only just begun their studies this year right up to Grade 8 year 13 students.
We had a wide variety of repertoire from Handel, Claude-Michel Schönberg, Shostakovich and folk music.
Many Thanks to Naomi Cole from Castle Rushen for accompanying students during the evening and to Mrs Galka, Mr Reynolds, Mrs Singleton, Mrs Dube and Ms Hope for encouraging students to perform.
