The Manx Youth Jazz Orchestra had the privilege and pleasure of working alongside students from the Royal Northern College of Music in a special workshop.
All of our Orchestra students got the chance to hear cutting edge jazz and a very high level of performance in a special fifteen minute showcase by the quartet. This was followed up by a collaboration between MYJO and our visitors and a question and answer session, culminating in a very successful performance to parents in the afternoon, lead by Mr Sullivan, our MYJO musical director.
Many thanks to all students for participating and to our visitors who excelled and inspired us with their skills, also to parents who attended and all music service staff who helped in making the afternnon a success.
